Greetings from Kennebunkport
We had a wonderful weekend in Maine. We took a few steps back from spring in seeing snow on the ground, but it was really beautiful and relaxing there. A much slower pace than being in the city.
One of the highlights of our trip was getting to see the Bush compound above. It is really beautiful there. There is a large American flag on the property as well as a wind turbine. We figured we were in the right place when we saw what looked like 10 official looking checkpoints up the drive and into the property. It has the most spectacular view. Not a bad place to enjoy your morning coffee.
There were so many beautiful homes. We were mainly in the car so it was hard to get a lot of photos.
The house above reminded me of the house from Nights in Rodanthe or something from a Nicholas Sparks novel. It looks like something storybook could happen in this house.
