The city of Philadelphia is covered, covered, covered in murals ... over 3,000! The Philadelphia Mural Arts Program began in 1984, an effort to eradicate the graffiti crisis plaguing the city.
We spent some time in Philadelphia last weekend and I snapped a few shots. There is also a bus tour of murals which I think would be fun to do sometime. For now, here are a few photos from our visit.
