Fall in New York

A few photos from our Sunday walk. New York looks just beautiful right now.

Welcome November

Karin Mathilda +

"How silently they tumble down
And come to rest upon the ground
To lay a carpet, rich and rare,
Beneath the trees without a care,
Content to sleep, their work well done,
Colors gleaming in the sun.

At other times, they wildly fly
Until they nearly reach the sky.
Twisting, turning through the air
Till all the trees stand stark and bare.
Exhausted, drop to earth below
To wait, like children, for the snow."

Autumn + Interiors

I can't believe Thanksgiving is almost here. I am so excited for some relaxation and quality time with friends and family. In the final days before winter is officially here, I think these interiors are a nice tribute to the colors of autumn.

Autumn + Central Park

Although, the leaves are mostly gone and winter is just around the corner, I am clinging to the colors of Autumn until Thanksgiving. This Fall, one of my most favorite days included a beautiful walk through Central Park.

Harry and Sally would have agreed. Which reminds me I need to watch this movie. Which also reminds me, why don't I own this movie?

"But, really, what's so hard about finding an apartment? What you do is look in the obituary section. You see who died, find out where they lived, and tip the doorman. What they could do to make it easier is combine the two. You know, Mr. Kline died yesterday, leaving behind a wife, two children, and a spacious three bedroom apartment with a wood burning fireplace."
